PARENTS’ EDUCATIONAL NETWORK of NUTLEY
Challenge:
As parents we have the greatest vested interest in the school system. Almost half our taxes go to the school system, and it educates our kids. Yet we do not have adequate representation on the Board Of Education.
Mission:
To increase participation in Board of Education elections by Nutley parents and family members, and increase our representation on the Board.
Structure:
PENN’s Committee will be comprised of parents representing each school in the district. The committee’s objective will be to maximize parental and family voter participation across all districts. The only requirements to join the network are to provide your email address and go out and vote.
Objective:
Nutley’s teachers and students need the most focused and educationally oriented Board of Education possible to achieve maximum productivity. Through increased parental and family participation in BOE elections this important educational objective can be achieved.
Nutley has the teacher and parental resources to prepare our students for the competitive road ahead.
Support PENN and elect a BOE that will support every teacher and ensure the best education possible for every student. It’s our responsibility and it starts with the Board of Education.
